I am a retired IT and I have always been involved in computing and this product is the best machine I have ever used ..It is well recommended ..as an expert in this field I can easily say it is probably the most realiable and powerful netbook you can buy and the battery life is amazing a huge hard drive 250GB and it is even better now as I have upgraded to Windows7 ultimate and an extra 1GB ..great machine .

I was appalled by the performance of the speaker, very tiny, like the size of a 10p coin and situated under the unit. It sounded awful and very cheap. I would think twice before I go for a brand name like Toshiba! The other features are ok but for that price why not include the Windows 7 Home instead of the Starter Edition? I tried it with Ultimate and it runs just as fast.
